What’s in it for you

What you’ll be able to do

Most contact centre managers started on the phones and have only worked in one or two centres, so the way they lead is shaped by local habits rather than proven principles.

This course teaches the global best practices that apply to every centre, whatever its size, sector or technology, so performance stops feeling unpredictable.

  • Defensible targets and forecasts
  • Fewer surprises and firefights
  • A centre your executives trust
  • Proven principles, not local habits

FAQs

Contact Centre Management Fundamentals FAQs

Delivery, pricing, content and who the course suits.

Still have questions? Get in touch
Who should attend?
Current and aspiring contact centre leaders, including senior Team Leaders, Operations Managers and new or experienced Contact Centre Managers, plus executives who need clarity on managing and measuring the centre.
Will this apply to our contact centre?
Yes. The principles apply to small teams of five as much as to global multi-site operations, in any industry and on any platform, whether you use Genesys, Five9, Amazon Connect or anything else.
When are the sessions?
Tuesday 19 to Friday 22 January 2027, from 12:30pm to 5:00pm AEDT (Melbourne and Sydney time) each day. You’ll receive your Zoom link before the course starts.
What if I can’t make these dates?
See the other upcoming dates, or talk to us about a private course for your team on dates that suit you.
How is the course delivered?
Live online via Zoom over 4 × 4.5-hour sessions on consecutive days, so you can learn for half the day and stay on top of your centre for the other half.
Can Daniel deliver the course onsite?
Daniel is based in Germany, so this course runs live online. We have run it onsite for some clients: if you’d like Daniel with your team in person, talk to us and we’ll quote it, including travel.
Do I need to be good at maths or workforce planning?
No. You’ll learn the manager’s perspective on forecasting, staffing and service levels: what matters, how to read the reports and how to make sound decisions.
How does it compare with Introduction to Contact Centre Management?
Fundamentals is an 18-hour deep dive into the operations side. Introduction to Contact Centre Management gives you the complete picture in seven hours, including leadership, quality and AI.
How much does it cost?
Public courses are $1,997 per person (ex GST). Save 15% when you book two or more tickets in the same transaction, and ACXPA members save 25%. Private courses for your team (minimum 5 participants) are quoted.
What’s included?
Four live 4.5-hour sessions with Daniel, a workbook, post-course support and a certificate of completion.
Will the course definitely go ahead?
Public courses need a minimum number of participants to run, so we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a date if too few people book. If that happens, we’ll let you know as early as possible and you can move to another date or get a full refund.
How do I book?
