CX Skills Course Terms and Conditions
Plain English Summary:
We want booking with CX Skills to be easy and fair. Here's the short version:
- You'll always know the full price up front (no hidden extras).
- Your ticket is for one person only — no sharing, broadcasting, or group viewing without our written approval.
- If you can't make it, you can send someone else or cancel with fair notice for a refund.
- If we ever have to cancel, you'll get a refund or credit — your choice.
- We'll do our best to get you course materials on time and keep things running smoothly online.
- If you kindly submit a review or testimonial, we may use it (and your photo) in our marketing — just let us know if you'd prefer we didn't.
- We treat everyone with respect and expect the same in return.

The following terms and conditions apply to all companies and/or persons or other entities ("you") that are attending any course ("Course") organised by CX Skills ("CX Skills", "we" or "us"). Please ensure you have read and understood the following.
By completing the registration form for a particular Course, or by paying one of our invoices, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below ("Terms") and they will be incorporated into the contract between us ("Contract"). You will ensure that your employees, partners, agents, contractors, subcontractors and any other person attending the Course on your behalf shall comply with these Terms. The Contract is formed when we send you a booking confirmation.
- PAYMENT
1.1 The fee for attending the Course will be stated on the CX Skills website. Prices are exclusive of GST except where expressly stated otherwise. All payments for the Course must be made in full at the time of completing the registration form, and in any event prior to the date of the Course unless prior arrangements have been made.
1.2 All fees and charges are payable in Australian dollars ($AUD), via the online payment gateway.
1.3 Where an invoice has been issued for Course payment, our payment terms are strictly 14 days unless agreed in writing prior.
1.4 Under no circumstances will Course attendance be allowed if the invoice has not been paid.
- CANCELLATION AND REFUND
2.1 If you are unable to attend the Course for any reason you may email us in writing to support@cxskills.com.au to provide us with the name of a substitute to attend the Course on your behalf and on receipt of this email we shall make such substitution and allow the substitute access to the Course, noting that the terms and conditions contained herein also apply to any substitution.
2.2 If you are unable to attend the Course and wish to cancel your enrolment, all cancellations must be in writing to support@cxskills.com.au and the effective date of the notice of cancellation is the date it is received by CX Skills to the nominated email address ("Effective Date").
2.3 Refund amounts are determined by the number of days between the Effective Date and the Course commencement date, as set out in the table below:

* All days, including weekends and public holidays. Where Course materials have already been sent out, any out-of-pocket expenses incurred by us will be deducted from the refund amount.
- CANCELLATION BY CX SKILLS
3.1 Whilst we hope it never occurs, CX Skills reserves the right to cancel any Course should a presenter unexpectedly become ill or there is an emergency; in the event of exceptional circumstances; or if there are insufficient numbers to make the course viable. CX Skills will give as much notice as practicable in the given circumstance.
3.2 Where cancellation of a Course occurs, CX Skills will provide you with:
3.2.1 A full refund of the amount of the registration fee that you have paid to us, and we will make every effort to provide you with such refund within 7 days of the date of cancellation. Or;
3.2.2 A credit of the full amount of the registration fee that you have paid to us that can be used towards any of the other CX Skills courses within a 12 month period from the credit being issued. Failure to use the credit within the 12 months of issue will forfeit the amount.
3.3 There may be circumstances in which we need to postpone the Course and if we do, we shall advise you of this as soon as we possibly can. If the postponement is for more than 3 months after the publicised date of the Course you may cancel your registration by emailing us at support@cxskills.com.au and we shall provide you with a full refund.
3.4 CX Skills sole liability in relation to any cancellation or postponement shall be limited to the price paid by you for such Course and we shall not be liable under any circumstances for any consequential losses.
- YOUR OBLIGATIONS
4.1 If you act in any way which in our opinion is likely to cause any harm or nuisance to any person at the Course, you will be required to leave the Course and we shall not be liable to refund your registration fee or any other payment.
4.2 You must comply with all requests from us with regard to health and safety and failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave the Course (in which case no refund will be provided).
- MATERIALS AT THE COURSE
5.1 We will endeavour to send you any workbooks or Course materials prior to the Course commencement date, however, if you register 14 days prior to the Course commencement date, or there are any delays that are beyond our control including due to effects of a pandemic, then we will email you the workbooks and Course materials which can be printed at your own cost and expense.
5.2 Unless otherwise stated, the copyright and all other such intellectual property rights for any materials used at the Course (including course notes, slides, brochures, articles and case studies) belongs to us and may not be reproduced in any medium without our prior written consent.
5.3 You may use such materials for your own business purposes only and may not reproduce, publish or deal with such materials in any way for any commercial use.
5.4 We reserve the right to change the published programme (including the publicised speakers) or materials as we think fit.
5.5 We do not make any representation, guarantee or commitment to you that the Course materials will be error-free.
5.6 We do not make any commitment that the Course materials will be compatible with or operate with your software or hardware.
5.7 All representations, warranties and/or terms and/or commitments not expressly set out in these Course terms and conditions (whether implied by law, conduct, statute or otherwise) are hereby excluded to the maximum extent permissible at law.
- PHOTOGRAPHY, FILMING AND TESTIMONIALS
6.1 We may wish to photograph or film the Course and reserve the right to do so for the purposes of promoting future Courses or otherwise. You consent to us (or any other person attending the Course) photographing or filming you and any persons attending the Course with you.
6.2 You may not photograph, video or record the Course without our prior consent.
6.3 Testimonials and reviews. From time to time we may invite you to provide a review or testimonial about the Course. Submitting a review or testimonial is entirely voluntary and at your discretion — you are under no obligation to provide one.
6.4 If you do choose to submit a review or testimonial, you grant CX Skills a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, publish and display that review or testimonial (in whole or in part, and together with your name, job title, company and location where provided) for marketing and promotional purposes. This includes, without limitation, publication on our website, email campaigns, social media channels, printed marketing materials, advertising, and on third-party review platforms.
6.5 When submitting a review or testimonial, you may optionally supply a photograph of yourself for use alongside it. If you do not supply a photograph, you acknowledge and agree that we may source a photograph of you through reasonable means from publicly available sources (for example, your public LinkedIn profile photo) for use alongside your review.
6.6 You may at any time request that we:
- do not use a photograph of you alongside your review;
- remove or stop using your review, testimonial or photograph in our marketing; or
- remove identifying details (such as your surname, company or image) from any published review.
Such requests should be sent to support@cxskills.com.au and we will action them within a reasonable timeframe. We will not use your photograph or review in any new marketing material once we have received and confirmed your request, though we cannot guarantee removal from third-party platforms or previously distributed materials (such as already-sent emails or printed items).
- TICKET USE AND ATTENDANCE
7.1 Each ticket is for a single, named individual only. A Course ticket entitles one (1) registered person to attend and participate in the Course. Tickets are non-transferable during the live session and may not be used, shared, or accessed by any other person, except via the substitution process set out in clause 2.1.
7.2 No group viewing or broadcasting. You must not broadcast, relay, re-transmit, project, stream, or otherwise make the Course available to any other person. This includes (without limitation):
- dialling in via speakerphone or connecting audio to a room speaker system so that additional people can listen;
- projecting or casting the Course to a screen, monitor, TV or projector in a room where others are present;
- sharing your login, meeting link, meeting ID or access credentials with any other person;
- allowing any other person to sit with you and watch or listen to the Course on your device; or
- recording the Course for later viewing by others (see also clause 6.2).
7.3 Speakerphone and audio devices. For clarity, you are welcome to use a speakerphone, headset, external speaker or similar audio device for your own personal use (for example, because you find the audio clearer, or for accessibility reasons). This clause is not intended to restrict how you personally listen to the Course — only to prevent the Course being broadcast to additional people who have not purchased a ticket.
7.4 Group or team attendance. If you wish for more than one person to attend, view or listen to the Course from a single connection (for example, a team watching together from a meeting room), you must obtain our prior written approval by emailing support@cxskills.com.au before the Course commencement date. We may, at our discretion, approve such arrangements subject to the purchase of additional tickets or a group rate. Attendance by multiple people without our prior written approval is a breach of these Terms.
7.5 Consequences of breach. If we reasonably believe that a ticket is being used in breach of this clause 7, we may:
- remove you or any other participant from the Course without refund;
- require you to immediately purchase additional tickets at the standard Course rate for each additional attendee; and/or
- withhold access to Course materials, certificates of attendance or any future Courses until the matter is resolved.
- MEETING ACCESS AND CONNECTIVITY
8.1 Once you have paid for the Course a meeting identification will be sent to you to enable access to the Course. You will be responsible for downloading the video communication platform as advised by CX Skills prior to the Course commencement.
8.2 All online meeting details will be supplied to you prior to the Course commencing.
8.3 All internet connections and connectivity is your responsibility. Should your internet fail we are not liable for you missing the Course.
8.4 If our connectivity fails and the Course is unable to be presented appropriately, we will reschedule either all or parts, as applicable, of the Course that was unavailable.
- SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
9.1 If you have any disability or medical condition that requires us to make special arrangements for you, please email us at support@cxskills.com.au as soon as possible and in any event at least 2 weeks prior to the date of the Course.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
10.1 We shall not in any way be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense suffered by you whatsoever in relation to the Course, save that nothing in these Terms shall be deemed to limit the liability of any person for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10.2 CX Skills total liability for any matter arising out of the Contract shall in all circumstances be limited to the price paid by you for the Course and we shall not in any circumstances be liable to you for any consequential loss whatsoever.
- DISCLAIMER
11.1 The Course is for training purposes only. We will not accept any responsibility to any party for the use of the Course or the Course materials for any purpose other than training for educational purposes, including but not limited to, the giving of advice by you to any third party.
- GOVERNING LAW
12.1 These Terms shall be governed by laws of Victoria and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Victorian Courts.
