Whilst it might be geographically down the bottom of Australia, Hobart is definitely not bottom in the ranks when it comes to providing great customer service and the home of lots of contact centres!
The Tasmanian Government has been actively promoting the island state as a great destination for call centres and the marketing seems to be working with many large call centres, and some not so large ones, all calling Hobart home.
Traditionally though, our Tasmanian friends are often left to journey to Melbourne or Sydney for any form of call centre or customer service training courses. But not anymore!
When it’s safe enough to do again (thanks to COVID), CX Skills will be providing a number of one and two-day call centre and customer service training courses in Hobart to enable you to learn without having to leave your state! But until then, all our courses are now available online and delivered live via ZOOM so you can continue to receive Contact Centre, CX & Customer Service training in Hobart without even having to leave home!

Where can you find Customer Service Training Courses in Hobart, Tasmania?
CX Skills provides both public courses (you can purchase 1 or more tickets) as well as private courses that are just for your employees.
When COVID restrictions allow, we can deliver our courses onsite at your premises or for our public courses, we’ll typically host them in a conference centre, hotel etc in Hobart CBD or perhaps a nice little venue around Salamanca.
Unfortunately, for now, we are only offering our courses online as it’s just too difficult to plan ahead with booking venues, flights etc as we don’t have any locally based trainers in Tasmania (normally our interstate trainers would just jump on a plane).

Online training to the rescue!
With the uncertainty of COVID expected to continue for some time, we anticipate it could be a while before we can offer onsite Customer Service training courses in Hobart again. The good news is that online training, whilst even we were sceptical at first, has delivered a host of unexpected benefits! Most employees are now also very familiar with online video, whether it’s for work or personal use and the available tools are easy to use (Zoom, Microsoft Teams etc) so there is a much higher level of comfort than in the past.
And most importantly, our Customer Testimonials also confirm that the training is still effective – we averaged 4.9 out of 5 stars across all our online courses in 2021!
