Types of Phone Sales Training Courses

There are a number of different types of phone sales training courses available with the main difference between inbound and outbound sales, as those two skills required are very different.

Whether you have a call centre sales team, employees who work in an office on the phones, out the back in a warehouse, on the reception taking phone calls etc, our sales training courses are designed to improve results regardless of the environment.

Inbound sales – customers are typically already interested in a purchase, or they may be calling about another issue and there is an opportunity to upsell or cross-sell one of your products or services.

Outbound sales – is when your employees are actively contacting either new customers with no relationship with your business, previous customers or existing customers for the prupose of generating revenue. It’s a very different skill set from inbound sales and requires more robustness in resilience, objection handling and so on.
