👋 Meet Simon

For over 30 years, Simon Blair has been helping frontline teams across Australia deliver consistently better customer experiences — whether it’s over the phone, face-to-face, via email or in live chat.

He’s personally assessed more than 50,000 customer interactions across sales, service and retention — so when it comes to understanding what good looks like (and what doesn’t), Simon knows it better than most.

Simon is also the General Manager of Quality Insights at the Australian Customer Experience Professionals Association (ACXPA) — an independent organisation working to raise the standard of customer and employee experience across Australia.

In that role, he leads the monthly Contact Centre Rankings, which recognise the country’s best-performing call centres, manages industry benchmarking programs, and co-authored the national Contact Centre CX Standards — the benchmark for best practice in customer service and sales delivery.

🎸 Outside the Classroom…

Simon lives in regional Victoria with his partner Ines and their four kids — including twin daughters who are rising footy stars (one plays for North Melbourne).

When he’s not working with customers, he’s often on stage as an acoustic guitarist and singer, playing classic rock and pop at local gigs and events.

A self-declared “cool nerd,” Simon also escapes into fantasy worlds via Dungeons & Dragons sessions with his mates — and never misses a North Melbourne Kangaroos game.
