FAQs

Training in Tasmania

Delivery, group sizes, pricing and booking for Tasmanian teams.

Still have questions? Get in touch
Do you deliver in Hobart, Launceston, or statewide?

Yes — our training is available live online, or we can run private onsite workshops in Hobart, Launceston, Devonport or regional Tasmania (Travel fees apply).

Who usually takes part in Tasmanian courses?

Staff from councils, banks, utilities, healthcare providers, tourism operators and call centres across the state. We train everyone from new recruits through to experienced leaders.

How long are the courses?

Most public programs run in 3-hour live online blocks to minimise downtime. Private onsite delivery can be structured as half-day or full-day sessions depending on your needs.

What subjects do you cover?
  • Customer Service — reception, phone, tech support, email/live chat, difficult customers
  • Sales & Collections — inbound sales, retention, collections
  • Call/Contact Centres — agent, team leader and manager pathways
  • Workforce Management (WFM) — forecasting, scheduling, real-time
  • Customer Experience (CX) — foundations, journey mapping
  • Workplace Mental Health — resilience essentials and advanced
What’s the difference between public and private delivery?

Public: set dates, live online, join from anywhere.

Private: just your team, flexible dates, tailoring optional, delivered onsite in TAS or live online.

How many people can join?

Public: book one person or several.

Private: a minimum of 5 participants. Groups generally run with 5–16 people so there is plenty of practice and coaching time, and larger teams can be split into multiple groups.

What results can Tasmanian organisations expect?

Our Tasmanian clients tell us they see happier customers, more engaged employees and better business outcomes. Participants leave with clearer communication skills, stronger confidence and practical tools to prevent or resolve escalations. The end result is more consistent service experiences, improved satisfaction scores and measurable improvements to team culture and performance.

How is pricing structured?

Public courses are priced per person, payable online or via invoice. Private programs are quoted per group, based on format, duration and tailoring. We’ll provide a clear proposal for Tasmanian delivery.

What do we need for online training?

A laptop or PC with camera and mic, stable internet, and Zoom access. We recommend individual logins for practice sessions, but groups joining from a shared office in Hobart, Launceston or Devonport can also work.

Do participants get certificates? Are the courses nationally accredited?

Yes — every learner receives a Certificate of Completion that can be used for HR files, performance reviews and professional development plans.

Our courses are not nationally accredited. That’s intentional: accreditation frameworks often focus on compliance paperwork rather than capability, adding unnecessary cost without guaranteeing better outcomes. Instead, we prioritise practical skills, role-plays and coaching that transfer directly to the workplace.

For more detail, see our guide: Why we don’t offer accredited customer service training.

Who runs the sessions?

Courses are delivered by seasoned trainers who’ve led contact centres, customer service teams and CX programs. Each course page shows their profile, reviews and expertise so you know who’s guiding the learning.

Do you offer self-paced options?

We do! Self-paced online courses are flexible, affordable, and popular with Tasmanian staff who can’t commit to scheduled live sessions.

How do we book training in Tasmania?

Public: browse categories above and register for a date that suits.

Private: contact us with your preferred dates, location and group size — we’ll send a tailored Tasmania proposal.
